Hood Canal, Washington Acrylic paintings

A client had placed a custom order for a sole fish, starfish, crab, and shrimp. These were all first's for me. It's always exciting to tackle new marine life for the first time. I never know the direction I want to go, but when a client says "these are the colors I would like and that I trust you to do your thing!" For me that's all I need to hear to be able to create a one of a kind piece of art. To have that kind of trust from a client and know they will be happy in the end is why I continue my craft. It's taken me years to home in on my style, but now that I have I've hit the ground running. Hope you enjoy!

Seascape/Surf Collection

All artwork is painted by Amber Ruehe and sold on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AmbersNature

This Seascape collection was inspired by some friends photographs that were taken of the Californian coastline. Once I say the pictures I had to put my Impressionistic/realistic spin on them.

This Surf Art collection was inspired by an upcoming trip to Florida to visit family and stay on the beach. Everyone in my family went to bed extremely early, so I had all the time in the world to be one with my art. No interruptions, just a girl, a few blank canvases, a paintbrush, and a whole lot of paint. Pure Bliss!
